Diane Manousos
|
Diane Manousos believes her
diverse taste in subject matter comes from having lived in various parts
of the country, the beauty she sees around her, the people with whom she
associates. She loves painting Texas, the Southwest and its people,
land and seascapes, old and historic houses, portraits, and the classic
still life.
Diane was born in Los Angeles and
raised in Indianapolis where she attended John Herron Art Institute.
Most of her adult life, however, was spent near the Texas Gulf Coast
where she studied under Dick Turner, Bill Kalwick and Ted Goeshner.
Diane has painted many
commissioned portraits but loves to paint beauty in any form and at any
given moment. Her works in oil have been exhibited in professional,
juried and invitational shows. Her paintings add warmth to private
homes in California, Pennsylvania, Texas and Maryland.
